हार्वर्ड ने वहां के मालिकों से इस व्यवसाय से जुड़ने की मांग की और अंत में उन्हें हार्वर्ड की बात माननी ही पड़ी, उन्हें डायरेक्टर ऑफ मार्केटिंग बनाकर।
स्टारबक्स–एक सपना
हार्वर्ड ने व्यवसाय में खूब तारिक्की की और अपना एक कॉफी चेन बना लिया। जब उन्हें खबर हुई की उनका पुराना कॉफी स्टोर बेचा जा रहा है, तो बिना कोई समय गवाए वो स्टोर उन्होंने खरीद लिया। इसके चलते हार्वर्ड ने स्टारबक्स को अपना पूर्ण सपना बनालिया और उसने नई ऊंचाई तक ले गए।
हार्वर्ड ने हमेशा नुकसान फायदे से हटके अपने व्यवसाय का मुख्य उद्देश्य ‘कर्मचारी’ और उसकी खुशी को रखा। उन्होंने एक ऐसी कंपनी की स्थापना की, जिसको उनके माता पिता हमेशा याद रखते।
